:: RAINBOW BRIDGE (PART 2) ::

A very special kit made in collaboration with Tootypup Scraps about something very near and dear to our hearts. Losing a pet is like losing a part of yourself because they love so completely and unconditionally.


~ Message from Rainbow Bridge ~

Today I went to Rainbow Bridge
for it was time to go
But I take with me fond memories
more than some ever know

I'd had so many years on earth
yet I was truly blessed
To know a life so rich in love
and filled with happiness

You see I'd had a second chance
that was given to me
And it was then I found new hope
and a loving family

And yet it was much more than that
for it was by design
That I would bring a special gift
into their hearts from mine

Together we shared many things
walkies to the park
Lots of smells along the way
where I could leave my mark

Playing ball with daddy
when he tried to mow the lawn,
A clever dog I surely was
bringing laughter in all forms.

Then in the twilight of my years
when I relied on mum
To be there when I needed her
she did so out of love

When my legs stopped working
and I suffered my strokes,
Mummy was there to guide me
full of sacrifice and hope

She soothed me and she talked to me
as she went about her day
Singing silly nonsense songs
which I loved anyway

She'd take me out for pee pees
and always clean my mess,
Mummy was so very special
but to me she was the best!

But soon the body dwindled
and time was drawing near
When I knew I'd have to say goodbye
to those I have loved dear

I didn't want to leave them
but I knew my time had come
I'd given them my very best
and my work on earth was done

So today they granted me the wish
I had been searching for
And I looked within their tearful eyes
that I would see no more

Mummy held me long and strong
as I gently took my leave
And walked me to the Rainbow Bridge
then let me go in peace...

I know you won't forget me
just as I never will
Our memories join us heart to heart
so I'll be with you still

And whenever you feel my presence near
or hear the echo of my bark -
Just know I'm watching from the Bridge
to where I left my mark.

An Aussie Christmas Collab

It's Christmas "Aussie" style!
Designed by Stina and Tootypup Scraps once again worked together to bring you "An Aussie Christmas Collab" - as we both live in different parts of Australia. Stina lives in Sydney and the PUP in the Outback. So we decided to show the different styles of Christmas we have. Despite being in the outback, a lot of things are still very traditional in many ways, as it is on the Coast. Some of the decorations might be a little different, but most are the same as everywhere else. There is no White Christmas for us.... just sand and dust for the PUP and the hot humid summer heat for Stina. We hope you will get a taste of what Christmas is like for us on our side of the world.... We hope you like this kit as much as we did putting it all together.

Calling all animal lovers! This kit is for YOU!

For the first time EVER, Designed by Stina and Tootypup Scraps have joined forces to bring you a very special MEGA kit collaboration in honour of our furry friends.

Here in Australia, the first week of October is RSPCA Awareness week, with the Friday of that week "Happy Tails Day". A day set aside for our animal friends and to show our appreciation for them. Tootypup and I both have an aversion to animals, particularly doggies, and we threw everything in this kit that represents our love, adoration and appreciation for our furry friends. For both of us, our pets are our lifeline. They give so much more than we ever ask of them and ask of nothing but love in return. How mankind could learn a lot from them by taking a leaf out of their books - the world would be a much happier and loving place, I'm sure.

The RSPCA (Royal Society of Prevention and Cruelty to Animals) do so much to bring recognition and awareness to the plight of animals. This week and Happy Tails Day being one of them. Each May, Australia-wide, there is a Million Paws Walk where dog lovers gather together in a specified location in each state or other cities, and do a 3km walk together. There is always plenty to do and see at these events, for both dog and owner.

The RSPCA is only 2% funded by the government and any event or program they run helps fund the organistion, and ultimately, the animals in need of their, and our, attention.

So with every purchase of this MEGA kit you will be able to help the RSPCA too. Tootypup and I have decided to donate ALL the proceeds from our sales of this kit to the RSPCA, because they need our help to give our animal friends a voice.

So help us help them.
