Dolphin Dreams Forum Set by Me!

So I decided to play with one of my favourite kits - "Dolphin Dreams" - and I created a Forum Set plus a Facebook cover. I actually started out with the cover first because I wanted to update my cover pic on Facebook...lol...and decided to do a Forum set while I was at it. Also below is scrap layout I made earlier in the week for a challenge at Wilma4ever, which is gorgeous! I do love this kit, and I used a couple of much younger photos of me once again  - in younger and trimmer years!

If you like this set, you can purchase "Dolphin Dreams" in FULL SIZE or TAGGER at all of my stores!

My Quote Challenge!

One of the five challenges I am hosting at the Wilma4ever forum this month is the Quote challenge. While it may normally generally be a full size  layout, I've opted for a tag this time. I just adore Zindy Nielsen's work and this tube just seemed fitting for the mood and theme of the quote featured. The kit I am using, as part of the challenge, is my "A Summer Garden (Collaboration - Part 1)" which is only available in Full Size at the moment, but will be available in Tagger very soon.

If you would like to participate in this challenge, or any of the challenges I or one of the other designers are hosting, please pop on over to the Wilma4ever forum and take a look! It's a lot of fun.
To participate in this challenge, just follow the link Quote Challenge

Hope to see you there!!

My Tag Template Challenge!

So this is my result for the Tag Template Challenge. The template is my own design which I created specifically for the challenge, and am using my gorgeous summery kit "Summer Dreams". This challenge was also a lot of fun and I hope you will stop by to have a go too! I'd love to see you there!

Just stop by here:

Template (below) is supplied on the forum.

I made a forum set and Facebook cover featuring once again a couple of photos of a very young me at 16 and 21. The challenge is to include ALL 6 listed items (though you are free to use more if you wish) using one of the two featured kits. It's a lot of fun and I would love to see you there!

To participate in the challenge, stop by

Hope to see you there!!

Halloween Tag Challenge

OK, my dear friend Susan of Tootypup Scraps has been on my case hounding me every week if I was going to do her tag challenge in the Wilma4ever forum...lol I have had a ton on my plate the last few months I wasn't sure what I would be able to do but yesterday I felt in the mood to tag, so I decided to give it a go. I've been taken with the forum style of tagging...lol Though this is my first attempt with making a matching Avatar.

Paws in Heaven Challenge featuring Sheba

Over on the Wilma4ever Forum, my dear friend is Designer of the Month and has a challenge featuring a few select items from three of her latest kits. I did this challenge last week also but I was inspired to do another challenge tag but this time featuring my beloved Sheba and one just for Susan of Tootypup Scraps featuring her beloved Tootypup, both of whom left us for Rainbow Bridge 5 and 3 years ago respectively next week - Sheba on 22nd September 2008 and Tooty on 23rd September 2010.

So in honour of our dear departed friends, I have created these two tags in their memory. May they run free at the Bridge, forever living long in our hearts.

Paws in Heaven Challenge

My dearest friend, Susan of Tootypup Scraps is Designer of the Month over at Wilma4Ever store this month and as a part of this honour she is hosting a Random Tag Challenge. So although I am currently on an indefinite break from designing, I thought I would try my hand at the challenge - having started out tagging long before I was designing. And the theme was just too good to pass up....lol

So anyway, this was my result of the challenge in which I used 3 elements and 2 papers - the animated one being the tag I submitted to the forum, but the static one doesn't have the usual GIF stippling. *s* I hope you like it. I had to search my old tube files (been a long time since I bought any tubes!! lol)

To read more about the challenge, or to participate, visit the Wilma4Ever forum HERE.

Go Purple for Animals Tutorial by Me

I had a few people ask me about my tag which was first created as a timeline cover. So I wrote out a tutorial for it - both as a timeline tut and a sigtag. It uses no scraps, but for a pawprint made by me, which I have included. I hope you enjoy it.

Witch Way Tutorial by Me

Well, it's been a while since I wrote a tutorial and this challenge was put up in a copyright compliant group I am in - using this awesome tube of Popeye Wong's and one of two FTU scrapkits from Foxys Designz. YES! An FTU kit. lol
Anyway, this tutorial I call "Witch Way?" can be found on my tutorial blog. I hope you enjoy it, and that I'm not too rusty with writing them....lol It's been a while.

This is another version with the tube I did:

Friendship Tutorial by Me

I was inspired this afternoon to write a tutorial. Not just any tutorial, but one without scraps, and using the tools, effects and filters in PSP. So I had a bit of a play with a photo hubby took of myself and Susan (of Tootypup Scraps) when were on holiday in Mildura last month. Susan, of course, thinks the tag could be better if she wasn't in it. lol
I hope you like the tutorial, which can be either animated or not. And please, if you do try it, be sure to send me your results to designed.by.stina@gmail.com

Showing the Wuv with my Furbabies! lol

Couldn't let my two be outdone...lol So I added them to the tags I'd made for Susan. Featuring one of yours truly as well. lol Not easy getting a nice photo of TWO pooches who never seem to stay still or look when you are trying to photograph them. One is a Staffy who just doesn't know the meaning of the word "slow". lol

Ciara is the black/dark brindle Staffy and Jasper is the Australian Cattledog I rescued from the streets just before Christmas. He has a sweet nature and to watch these two you'd think they had grown up together the way they get along. I had him spayed last week, chipped and registered and he is now officially mine. Welcome home, Jasper... a brudder for Ciara. lol

Show the Wuv Tags by Me

After a busy couple of days of having to reformat my poor sluggish and overloaded computer then jumping straight back into the saddle to finish a train kit and a collab kit by their due dates, my mojo has gone walkabout and I was left here fiddling about in PSP. So I decided to make a special little surprise for Susan (aka Tootypup).

As most of you know, she had to say goodbye to her precious friend Tooty of 17 and a half years last September and it has been a long, slow road for her. I have been constantly prompting her to get herself another pup as they are honestly the best therapy and are far cheaper than a therapist! lol They don't judge you and they love you totally and unconditionally. They are our best friends and vice versa.

Two weeks ago I googled shelters in her area and together we had a look online at available adoptions. We found a couple of Black Lab X's which is what she had her heart set on, being as that was Tooty was. The next day she went down to see the pups and chose one. The little girl was only about 4 months old but very very timid and obviously abused or neglected. All the other pups jumped up on their cage doors but this little girl who just sat in her corner quietly. Susan went out every day and visited her and built up a rapport with her, and soon the little pup began to emerge from her shell and she turns out to be a right little cheeky miss! lol But being so young she should adapt fairly well being out of her former environment.

As she was only picked up the day before the shelther legally had to keep her on the register for 8 days in case someone claimed her, which was a nail-biting time for Susan. Tomorrow is Valentines Day and the day that this little girl makes her trip to the vet to be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, leaving the shelter behind and going home with Susan. Needless to say Susan is very excited, and I am too for her. The difference in her already this pup has made is refreshing. They will be wonderful therapy for each other.

Anyways....as a surprise I decided to make up a couple of tags with a couple of photos I managed to get Susan to take of her last week. lol Using an upcoming kit of mine called "Show the Wuv". A freebie sampler of the kit is available for download on my blog (through The Goodie Train). Anyhow, Susan LOVES the tags, and it is wonderful to see this pup looking so happy, as opposed to the first photos taken of the quiet timid little girl she was at first.

An Aussie Christmas Tag by Me!

I had a request to make an Aussie Christmas tag from a very special friend of mine, and though I haven't yet done an Aussie Christmas kit this year (it's on my TO DO list...lol) I used Susan's gorgeous "Koala Christmas" available from Aussie Scraps.
Didn't feel much like tutting it so just had a play with some mindless tagging...lol I made it both with and without the greeting.

Here Come the Newborns Tag by Me

Because of the recent hoo-ha I have redone the "Newborns" tag I made yesterday. Luckily I still had a template of it in layers so all I had to do was remove the offending image/layer and replace it with the new one.
Anyone else who has sent me tags using those same sets of fangs PLEASE redo them with the new ones, which are much nicer anyway. So neither of us get into trouble. *g* Thanks. I appreciate all the work you do and tags etc. made with them. Thank you.

More than I Deserve Tag by Me

In a tag-making mood...lol I simply had to make one of my favourite vampire and his love, still using "Here Comes the Newborns" freebie. A different result with a somewhat dark kit. Although the WordArt is from my "Eclipse of the Heart (Edward)" kit. *g*
