A Tribute to Tooty

A Tribute to Tooty

Yesterday was my baby girl's anniversary and today it is my dear friend Susan's own Tooty's anniversary of 4 years. And as a tribute to her, I used the Lyrics Challenge I am hosting over a Wilma4ever in her memory for Susan. I used the same lyrics again, that speaks volumes of the heartwrenching pain felt when letting them go. Though it is the greatest gift we can give to them, it doesn't stop it from hurting like hell when we do.
RIP dear Tooty.

I hope you like it, dear friend. I didn't have many photos of Toot and I spent more time searching my files for a different one than I did in making the page! lol

I used a combination of  Tootypup Scraps' "Dog Paws in Heaven" and "Cat Paws in Heaven" which you can find in her stores.

Muscular Dystrophy Quickpage Layouts

One of our store owners, Farrah of Designer Scraps, has just recently learnt her son has Muscular Dystrophy. So in an effort to help raise awareness for this debilitating disease she has released a lovely kit, which I used to create this stunning Layout - one with the Muscular Dystrophy cluster she made and one without. They are clickable for download in 1000 x 1000 only.

To purchase the "Muscular Dystrophy" kit (preview below), please visit Farrah's store at Designer Scraps. All proceeds from the sale from this kit will help pay for his medical bills and her fuel with running around.

Memories Layout by Me

Not only has Ziggy joined our CT, but I have also joined her CT, and my first attempt was using her beautiful "Midnight Blue" kit to make this gorgeous tagger sized layout - featuring photos from my childhood. Thank you, Ziggy, for the opportunity to work with such a lovely kit.

"Midnight Blue" is available to purchase in tagger size from ZiggyFan Scraps

Dolphin Dreams Forum Set by Me!

So I decided to play with one of my favourite kits - "Dolphin Dreams" - and I created a Forum Set plus a Facebook cover. I actually started out with the cover first because I wanted to update my cover pic on Facebook...lol...and decided to do a Forum set while I was at it. Also below is scrap layout I made earlier in the week for a challenge at Wilma4ever, which is gorgeous! I do love this kit, and I used a couple of much younger photos of me once again  - in younger and trimmer years!

If you like this set, you can purchase "Dolphin Dreams" in FULL SIZE or TAGGER at all of my stores!

My Random Challenge @ Wilma4ever!

My scrapping and real life friend, Susan of Tootypup Scraps, is hosting the Random Challenge over at the Wilma4ever Forum. And to help support her I have undertaken her challenge featuring her "Just Beachy" kit. She supplies us with a Sampler of her kit for free, but you can purchase the full kit in the store while it is on sale.

Anyway, these are my results with her kit. Featuring some lovely photos of Lake Macquarie and Mereweather Beach, as well we two younger versions of myself. lol I really enjoyed working with this kit, and if you would like to participate in the challenge, just go to the Random Challenge at Wilma4ever to play.

Hope to see you there!

My Tag Surprise Challenge!

This is my result of my Tag Surprise Challenge over at the Wilma4ever forum, featuring my "Hot in the Shade" kit. I made a forum set and Facebook cover featuring once again a couple of photos of a very young me at 16 and 21. The challenge is to include ALL 6 listed items (though you are free to use more if you wish) using one of the two featured kits. It's a lot of fun and I would love to see you there!

Hope to see you there!!

My Surprise Challenge

I'm really happy with how this came out!
This is my result for my own Surprise Challenge I am hosting at the Wilma4ever Forum. Even I found this one to be a bit of a challenge! I gave a list of 6 items that MUST be included in the layout, and let me tell you, it WAS a challenge because I found I wanted to use something completely different or I didn't want to use what there was. lol  However, the end result is lovely - and there's me, more than half my current size now to how I was back then...some 20 years ago! lol

You can play along too! Just head on over to Wilma4ever's forum to register (if you're not already), and if you are anything like me and get a tad lost in forums, just follow this link to the Surprise Challenge!
I hope to see you there!

Lyrics Challenge

This is my result for the Lyrics Challenge I am hosting at Wilma4ever this month. The song is "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock and the kit I used is my "Beachside Retreat" kit.  And yes, the photo is of a very young me. lol   While the song is of back in 1989, I couldn't find a summery photo of my from then, so I used this one which is actually from 1993 - but I look pretty much the same. Skinnier - a LOT skinnier! lol  And oh, so young.

So come and join the fun and take part with us. You can find the Lyrics Challenge here.

New Wrathchild Tutorial by Me

Well I have been in a tutting mood...lol I wrote three tuts yesterday - one which I posted last night, this one which had to wait till today and one that I can't post till Wednesday. *s* A little our of practice so I need to exercise the tutting mojo again. lol

OK, I wrote this tutorial featuring my latest kit "Wrathchild", and while I have tons of tubes that could have worked with it, I figured what was the point me choosing which posers to include if I don't use them? LOL And this little girl is one bad little girl. lol I hope you like it.

Who's that Girl Layout #2 by Me

While I was playing around with papers and elements from my kit "Who's that Girl" I couldn't decide which look I wanted to go with, so as you can see I made two. lol One depicting the movie in the first layout - complete with jailbars, handcuffs, blood spatter, cityskyline and Murray - and this one a slightly more sexy look. I have used Artplicit's gorgeous tube of Masuimi Max (above) and two more below featuring the work of Steve Baier.

I also have a freebie Layout Quickpage for you in 800x800 once again

New Layout by Me featuring "Susarella"

Those of you that know me will remember I started out CTing and writing tutorials. I am not much one for creating layouts, and as I don't create Full Size kits because my computer will splutter in major complaint if I even tried, I never really considered making them before. But I was inspired to try my hand at one using my "Susarella" kit and featuring the very person the kit was made for - my dearest bud Susan aka Tootypup Scraps.

This photo here was taken the one time we have met in real life just over 2 years ago, though we both intend on rectifying that come October. lol

And so I decided to offer the layout as a freebie, which you can download just by clicking the preview below.
Layout size is 800x800
