As May is Mental Health Awareness month, it's a good reminder to keep ourselves mindful and give our brains a break.
How do you stay mindful? This May we’re asking you to use mindfulness to give your brain a break. Mindfulness is taking a pause and focusing your attention to be more focused, calm and connected. Studies show that practising mindfulness can reduce stress and improve overall mental and physical wellbeing.
Visit beyondblue for tips and helpful advice.
Visit Smiling Mind for tips and mindfulness advice.
You can register for Mindful in May practising 10 minutes of mindfulness meditation every day for 31 days.
Mindfulness is a good way to maintain your own self care. No one is immune to depression or anxiety. It can happen to anyone - even you.
